Backplanes




PICMG 1.3 backplanes support server-class or graphics-class PCI Express® serial interface implementations. These backplanes are available in a wide variety of form factors and option card slot combinations that support one or multiple PICMG 1.3 Single Board COmputers and PCI Express, PCI-X, PCI and in some cases ISA card slots.	PICMG 1.0 backplanes support single board computers(SBCs)PICMG 1.0. These backplanes are available in 14-slot and 20-slot form factors. The variety of option card slot combinations on these backplanes support SBC option card parallel interfaces to a backplane’s PCI-X, 32-bit PCI, 64-bit PCI or ISA slots.
