Other Trenton and industry standard PICMG 1.3 SHBs are supported in the TRC5003 system.  These alternative SHB options provide additional long-life processor choices.

Support for PCI Express 2.0 or 1.1 cards is available with the TRC5003 system.  The BP4FS6890 backplane used in the TRC5003 supports three PCI Express cards per SHB segment.  There are a total of twelve (12) PCI Express options cards supported in the TRC5003 system.  The PCIe interface link type supported on each card slot is a function of the specific SHB option used in the system.  PCIe card slot link support includes x16, x8, x4 and x1 electrical interfaces 

Additional backplane options are available if you require PCI-X or PCI option card support in the TRC5003 system.
